my new cannon

barrel is 1018 steel  with  a powder pocket and in GB borewheels are steam bent hickory from our almish friends 24"dia by 2" wide hubs are"wide
carriage is white oak with brass and steel trim
thanks to DD for the square nuts via this site
This is my first cannon i designed from scratch

several have asked were i got the wheels
the seller for the Amish  web site is http://www.tinbarnstar.com/wheels
hope posting it is ok
i had to ream the axle hole and  sand file and little knife work but had both done in an evening
