45-70Govt & 450 Marlin

Couldn't find the correct board to discuss this but I have always been curious about whether a 45-70Govt round will chamber and fire in a 450 Marlin? 

I know I read something along these lines quite some time ago in a Guns & Ammo article about the Marlin Guide Gun.  Am I mixing up the calibers?  If so which are the correct calibers 45-70Govt & ?????.  Thanks, and if by any chance anyone knows about which issue this article was in, or the title of the article, I would really appreciate it if you could provide a link or any information.

i have heard you can shoot a 410 shell out of a 45-70 but i dont think i would try it.
