Security Six Help....
« on: January 18, 2004, 07:41:42 AM »
Does anyone know where a guy can get scope bases for a Security Six?  I have a special ordered 8" barrel Centennial model("Made In The 200th Year Of American Liberty") I would like to mount a scope on.  Son far my search has turned up zip.  Lawdog

I believe that Weaver makes a no-drill scope mount for it. Check Midway USA or Mid-South Shooters Supply.

Steve,

I wanted to thank you for your post.  After checking with both Midway and Midsouth over the phone, neither were able to help me.  I am waiting for a reply from Weaver, keeping my fingers crossed.  Lawdog

Security-Six Scope Mounts

Go to www.midwayusa.com and put in product number 711101. I guess Midway doesn't know what they carry. That is the number for the Weaver mounts. they aren't cheap, but they don't mess up your revolver either. I had a Weaver mount on my Blackhawk .41 magnum that I used for NRA Hunter Pistol Silhouette and they worked great.

Steve,

THANK YOU!   :-D   That is exactly what I was looking for.  The guy I talked to DOES need to learn what Midway carries.  But I also did a search there and I guess I wasn't putting in the right description of what I was looking for.  That is why I called just to be sure because I have been known to not ask the right question.  Comes from to many years behind the badge I guess.  Again, Thank You very much.  Lawdog
