Give foxpro a call I haven't had to deal with them but hear the customer service is top notch.

i talked to foxpro they were very freindly , was told there 500 series remote was better in cold whether but it will not work with my wildfire. there tech dept. told me to try holding hand warmers on it with rubber bands. they told me that fox pro has a 30 day return policy if i was not satisfide but would have to return it to the store where it was bought. can't ask for more then that i guess.

I saw a comment on the Cabelas forum where one guy said he puts the remote under his jacket while walking etc. in cold weather to get around this and said that it works great then.  I've been looking at the Foxpro calls as well.  They have a ton of great comments and recommendations overall.

I carry my remote inside my outer layer of clothing till I get on location.  The I take it out and place it in the pocket of my goose down vest.  My right hand stays there with it with no glove on so I am ready to shoot.  That and a handwarmer keeps the remote warm.  I know the buttons so I don't have to look at them to operate the remote.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.
