yup, really bad stuff.
maybe if the landowners would let more hunters on to thin out the deer herds some, this disease wouldn't be so widespread.

I think this disease would have been bad no matter what the size of the deer herds.

Getting rid of the "Open Fields Doctrine" in SD would probably open up tens of thousands of acres to hunters.  Many landowners don't allow hunting due to a lack of respect of private property by the government.
