I'll take my chances-if the person doesn't make a big production of it-as I said the guy that influenced my father prayed silently

any time I see someone bow their head and ''give thanks'' silently or quietly-when I leave,I try to walk by their table and let them know I appreciate seeing a fellow believer ''give thanks'' for their meal.

We do too. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

I feel that as long as someone isn't disruptive it's none of my business what they say and do and expect the same consideration.

BBF I was thinking about the resturant where the guy came in killing people . Luby's I think was the name. I see your side but there can be two sides .

Luby's in Lilleen, TX..the place where the fight to renew CC in Texas began.  A young doctor, Dr Susanna Hupp took her parents to dinner that  night, and it was the last night she saw her parents alive, for some reason the nut didn't shoot her.  The irony was, she had a .38 and was a crack shot with it,  but it was locked in her car..no CC allowed.

BBF;  I agree, if a person uses prayer as a "demonstration", as a Christian I would be irritated also.  One consolation though..God knows and the one who mocks prayer will, one way or another..answer for his ridicule.  We don't have to judge it; as I said...God knows.

I have seen it many times in resturants as most of you have. I have never seen it done in any way but with respect for those in the resturant. I would have to look for a problem and make one up to find one.
However there are those..........

I have read alot here and I tried to see the other side ( not in favor of it) and remember times on the job where we were ask to follower religious rules and services while on the job. Once was building a motel. We were ask to stop work and witness a blessing by a priest from India for the motel. Another time we were ask to remove our shoes and wear special slippers. I have also worked in a Muslim mosque . It would have been easy to say no I'm not doing any of the stuff ask. But in reality I learned something about each of them. I gained trust from all of them. And none of it changed my beliefs. So if they see me pray I hope they return the courtsy
If ya can see it ya can hit it !
