coon & fox season is about out and mink & rats stay in till the end of feb.can you collect glands from rats in feb?

Rat glands

Male rat glands are only good during spring mating season when they swell up and  scent is used by males to attract females.

I take it you can't trap rats at that time of the year, or do they have a spring season on them like they do on beaver?

the only thing you can take here in ohio after feb 31 is coyotes.
