Scratching brass on extractor

My new .223 handi is scratching brass on the extractor, is there a fix for this? I thought about taking the extractor off and smoothing it down a mite.

Remove it and flatten the spring a little, take some arch out of it, you may have to do a little touch up on the claw so it's not so sharp.
