Holsters for scoped rimfires?
« on: January 10, 2012, 03:34:22 PM »
I need holsters for a scoped MarkII 678 and a scoped 22A.  Nothing fancy just functional.  Woods carry and staying secure while riding an atv are the main issues.  Hip or shoulder is fine.  I must be losing my touch.  I can usually find anything I want but these things are staying well hidden for some reason.  A link or address of some sort would be great.  Thanks for any help.

Check with www.Sportsmansguide.com  I've seen a couple of different ones for the MkIIs there.

Idaho Leather Company.   The old Royal Eubanks shop from the 30's, Ben has worked there since a kid (mid 50's).   His Dad bought it and he now owns the place.   Great guy that makes a very nice product for a very reasonable cost.

Here's one I've had since the 50's I use for my HS HD Military that he still makes and will also fit a Ruger 6 7/8".    Poor picture, but you'll get the idea.

Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

I have one to fit a 22A  I shake so bad that the little red dot jumped around in a 6' circle
you can have it for the postage it takes to get it to you.
it's a hip holster because I can't find the shoulder straps.

An Uncle Mikes holster for a scoped Contender would work fine and be the cheapest.

Cabella's.....they have all sizes for all scoped pistols in shoulder carry models. I took my ruger mark 2 competition slab side W/ scope into the store and fit it to a holster. If memory serves, it ran about $29.00 and very sturdy.
Quality will be remembered long after price is forgotten

Personally, I really dislike the Uncle Mike's products as they are bulky and noisy!  Not even to bring up the subject of ugly.

So, for my Mark II Slabside with 2X Leupold, I built my own rig.
