Have any of you tried Win.748 in the 30 Herrett ?

Called Accurate powder and they said to try AA2230 it is the equivalent of Win748 so if its the same I should start a load around 24.8grs or so using a 165gr bullet.

748 as a powder may work "ok" but a 165 grain bullet will be kind slow excepting for  for knocking  steel animals off of their perch.

110- 130 grains seems to be the hunting bullet weight range for the 30 Herrett though I keep hoping for a real soft expansive 150 to come on the market.

Oh well 165s will fireform the brass anyway.
