The Supreme Court unanimously found that such government control over who churches can hire would violate the religion clauses of the First Amendment.

While I agree with the decision I am surprised the supremes can all agree on anything. Also I feel it is just as unConstitutional for them to tell a business owner who he can and can't hire.

It's way past time to kick the government out of meddling in the private lives and businesses in this country.

BTW I believe Ron Paul is likely the LAST chance this country has to do that without another revolution.

I've not seen anywhere the details of what the basis of the discrimination suit was so lacking that if the SCOTUS agreed then I'd sarcastically state it was probably based on something that a grade school amount of common sense would have rejected outright.
In that Paul is the only "basically" conservative IMHO left running, I agree with ya GB but you can color me if I give it a snowballs chance.  I guess perhaps I'm glossy eyed but I see it's too late by a long shot.  Doesn't mean that changes anything I personally act on but I think it "realistic" to see the condition this country has come to.

I agree with the comments about Ron Paul, a lot of people disagree on lots of things with this next election, who can beat Obama, vote Republican no matter what or not....but the one thing most people agree on is beating back government with a stick and making them smaller and weaker, Paul is the most logical choice there and probably the only one who would attempt to reverse things.  Anything else is the same old deal.
