He is taking three small agencies and making one larger one. He has lied time and time agian about savings and costs,
My guess is at the end of this there will be more people employed in the one agency then the current three and that we will have no savings at all, the added costs of new ID's, locks, offices, stationary, computers, Logo stuff- coffee mugs, jackets, shirts, writting tablets, golf balls, and name plates for desks and doors.
What I would like to see is just a flat reduction in spending across the board by 10% not a cut in the proposed growth of governemnt from 20% a year to 18% and calling that a 10% cut. At the end of the day if we spent 100 last year we are spending 118 next year not 90.
I would also like ot see a tax cut of the growth rate.
I know the class warfare crap makes great sound bites. "Raising taxes on those that can afford it" BHO but what happens is any tax increase is a raise in costs, that raise prices accross the board. A raise in prices and less is demanded. Less demanded and fewer workers are needed to fill those demands. Fewer workers means fewer taxes collects, smaller demands mean smaller profits and smaller profits mean smaller tax dollars collected.
