Does anyone know if DEWC function well in the 357 Big Boy?  I would like to order some for reloads before my rifle arrives.

I have not tried it in mine, but I would tend to think they would not work. You need the bullet extension to help guide the the case into the chamber. When I tried to use a HK speedloader with WC's in my GP100 it just didn't work well as all the case wouldn't line up exactly. With the bullet  out in front there is more "wiggle room". Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

I have no idea if they will feed or not, but the traditional lever gun bullet is a round nose flat point (RNFP).   You definitely want a flat point for the sake of safety in a tubular magazine, and the round nose will help feed reliability.
