Anybody know if NEF has any 357 barrels in stock to be fitted to shotgun frames?

Definitely a must have Handi barrel, and fun to shoot!

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

The TALO .357 barrel with irons and no scope base is awesome.  Except that it doesn't have conventional rifling.  If it did, I'd push some screaming motherdockers thru it.

Will H&R fit a 357 barrel to a frame that originated as a shotgun?  I know that they will fit it to an SB1 receiver but I thought that they would not fit rifle barrels to original shotgun receivers because of the large firing pin.  Anyone know for sure?

That's addressed on the accessory barrel page, look at the 357 and 44 mag barrels specifically.

I guess the quote below from the accessory barrel page answers my question. According to this the answer is no.
CAB
All shotgun frames (SB-1) 1987 and newer and rifle frames (SB-2) produced between 1987 and 1999 or 1999 and newer may be fitted with additional shotgun and muzzleloader barrels only, if frame passes inspection.

Now I'm confused. Will they fit a 357 a barrel to a shot gun frame?

What is the rate of twist with the new batch of .357 barrels?

At one time H&R/NEF used 1-18.75.

Slightly less than 1-16.  That's excellent!   ;D
