Bargains are Back?!?

While browsing my local Academy Sports, I saw a CVA after a long absence.  The in-store clerk was not so helpful so I checked it out online after getting home.


They seem to be trickling back onto the shelves.

Hopefully they will offer the full line at the stores.  I went in looking for a stalker a few months back and all they had were scouts.   I maybe looking for another stalker soon in 45-70.    Most of trips to the gun counter at that store lacks what I would call a good shopping experience.

Its been a few months since I have seen them in my area also. I have one in .45/70 and one in .270 already. I love these guns. They are a bit heavy, but good shooters.

nice price, Ive got a scout in whelen, and been thinking about a 45-70.
next time Im over in decatur I might see if theyres any in stock.
Ill be in nashville next week and will look around there as well.

I can honestly say I miss having Academy's around. I am sure my wife does not though. The only thing here in AK that compares is Sports Authority, and no deal on gus, nor really at Wal-Mart either. I usually stick with Sportsman's Warehouse here, but would love to see an Academy and pick up some bargains again.
