Was hunting the other day and came upon a tree about 6" in dia. that had a rub on it with deep gouges on it about knee high, and started to get excited about a nice deer in the area but then noticed that where the rub was it was soaking wet as in very recently being wet and looked around at the trees around it and it was the only one that was wet the rest were all dry, and was wondering if large boars hook and scape there tusks on trunks to mark there territory. I've seen plenty of trees that they rub on but this was a first.
