Fox Ignors Paul...Again!
« on: January 17, 2012, 04:50:16 AM »
I tried watching the Fox debate last night, but after they virtually excluded Ron Paul (# 2 in the race)for the first 40 minutes, and making it a three way race between Mitt ,Newt, and Santorum.I decided I could find more truth and important content watching Pro. Wrestling.

Fox should be ashamed of themselves for using Fair and Balanced..We Report, You Decide as a theme. It's plain as day, as fair and balanced they place dead last.

Yet how many people on this forum watch Fox news religiously then try to get on this site and bully RP supporters.  Brainwashing by the conservatives is still brainwashing.
I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

::) Cripes can you blame them the goofy old dingbat would take off on a tangent and talk in circles about nothing even related to the questions they did ask. They couldn't get him to shut up, he even recieved some fairly rauckus boos from the audience...
In the 1920's "sheeple" was a term coined by the National Socialist Party in Germany to describe people that would not vote for Hitler. In the 1930's they held Hitler as the only one that would bring pride back to Germany and bring the budget and economy back.....

Your talking about the questions to Paul that came much later. Did you watch the first hour? If so, do you think he received equal air time? The only goofy dingbat I saw was John what's his name, when he was showing charts and trying his best to leave RP out of the discussion. You did see that part I assume? Paul did receive a lot of applause from the audience as well.

Why werent "hope and change" supporters ridiculed by others in 2008? Now along comes a chance for real hope and change in Ron Paul and all of a sudden he is a "dingbat" and his supporters are a "cult" It seems to me that the mainstream republiberals and liberals and their brain washed minions are afraid of the guy.
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

nwhunter , yes I saw the whole thing. I think Perry got shorted probably about the same way Paul did. But Perry's answers seemed to be right to the point of the question. I've watched all the debates, and this is the first time I thought Perry looked good.
I still haven't decided who to vote for , but it won't be Paul, that much I do know. I've watched him to many years to put much stock into anything coherant he does manage to blurt out.

I didn't see the first part of the debate.
However what I did see with RP is a man, that simply doesn't have the ability to express himself coherent and clearly. Perhaps his writings once organized and cleaned up make good reading. As a speaker he sucks big time. His physical appearance is poor and yes it does influence people, particularly women.

The nomination will go to someone else which IMO is a good thing as he wouldn't come close of beating Obama.

Newt got feisty, I like it and Perry did well.

Some would prefer to have a President that looks good as opposed to someone that (IS) good for the country! Yes he is old :o but still resonates with the youth of the country, and a lot of them are female!
Hmm! Cannot express himself clearly ::) He appeared to express himself quite well with four Republican State Senators in S.C.
COLUMBIA -- Texas Rep. Ron Paul receives what he calls "another shot in the arm for the campaign" after three South Carolina senators join Sen. Tom Davis --- who on Sunday announced his support for Paul --- endorsed the GOP presidential candidate.
Sen. Danny Verdin (R-Laurens), Sen. Lee Bright (R-Spartanburg) and Sen. Kevin Bryant (R-Anderson) have all said Paul is the right choice for president during a press conference held at the State House Tuesday morning.

BBF that's exactly right. My wife is a trained licensed physco therapist, after Paul got thru his first inchorent merry go round , she asked me if I understood what he was trying to say. I told her no I haven't been able to make heads or tails of him for years. When it got all done she was trying to figure out what reasonably intelligent people see in Paul, she could not make any sense of his stuff, and she's trained to listen and evaluate.

Well I understand what he's been saying, been listening to him for a number of years and have had no problem. I'm not convinced being a physco therapist is what it takes to figure him out.  Obama has a degree in constitutional law, but he either does not agree with the constitution, or does not understand it....all of his study did him no good.  This is not a knock against your wife at all...just sayin.....a degree doesn't help much in some cases.   I have heard people say Ron Paul said he would not go to war at all for anything...I heard him say if your going to go to war destroy it all quickly, no nation building, just do it.  Lots of people did not hear or get that.  I heard him say some popular federal programs are actually unconstitutional, some other people heard him say he would shut them down....although he did not say that.  Bottom line is people hear what they want to hear sometimes, no matter how smart they are.  I figure he is a whole lot smarter than most people out there since he already told us years ago this would happen, pretty much laid it all out from Fannie and Freddie and beyond, lot's of people didn't hear that either I guess.  Maybe what they heard was just an old guy rambling.  Maybe cause they just don't like him much...I don't know.  We probably all do this to some extent...but try not too.

He also said a couple of weeks ago, someday he hoped we'ld all be Autrians,, when they pressed him hard enought they finally got him to clarify that. He said he meant because of the Austrian economic system...... wondering if that's the same Austrian economic system that got down graded again last week????
Try as you might you're just wasting time and bandwidth, I will not vote for Paul not even in the general election.
The reason we came to this thread is because NW Hunter posted that Fox ignored Paul again.... they didn't it's a shame the didn't ...

Faux News has proved time and time again that they are joke like the rest of the cable and alphabet networks - completely agenda driven.

Fair enough. So why don't you just stay out of the discussions about him then. You've made your position clear so we don't need to see it again in every discussion of him.

It's really quite simple why intellegent people support Ron Paul.  He's not a neo-con, and he's the least socialist candidate in the running.

Well I guess that could be done. You could also suggest that folks that do support him stay out of discussion that don't reflect his support.I tend to stay away from most Paul discussions.
I looked in on this one to see when Fox News ignored him. The statement made in the beginning about them ignoring him in the debate was patently false.

Blank post Matt.  Looks like maybe a cut and paste article didn't take.
