My son shoots a Ruger M77LR MKII in .25-06 he just got last year.  I know it's not a 5 lb. wonder gun    but at 8 1/4 lbs. it isn't all that heavy.  Ruger has a number of rifles for south-paws.  Lawdog

A M77 all-weather in a true medium bore caliber like 338WM or 35 Whelen.  (I wish Winchester would do the same in a factory M70.)

Oops, I forgot to say that I want the M77 or M70 medium bore in a left-handed action.  That was the whole point.

I also want them to build a lefty 77/22.  I'm not aware of any American manufacturer who builds a lefty bolt 22 besides Savage.

All I want is a Redhawk with a 4 inch regular or full lug barrel in that cool Target Grey color!

How about a new dual cylinder Single Six: .17 HRM & .17 Mach 2 (brand new caliber based on a necked down .22 Stinger case).

I don't think they sold any xgi's did they?   I've seen the brosure/catalog pictures and such, cross between a m14 and mini14.  Looked like a sweet setup.

I was under the impression that they put out a limited number but I could be mistaken. Reguardless they should bring it out because it would be sweet gun to have.

I read today that Ruger said in an amorers session (jun 2003) that they still have alot of the xgi recievers in storage and haven't forgotten about the project.  They said if/when the AWB sunsets things might fall into place and the xgi might begin production.  Ruger also said that the XGI takes M14 magazines.  I was also surprised at all of the outside work Ruger does.  Including producing components for many other manufacturers at its investment casting facilities in NH and AZ. Most notably, these are Caspian slides, H&R shotguns, M1A receivers for Springfield, Colt AR15 front sight bases and trigger parts, golf clubs, and much more.  Very interesting stuff.

I would like to see the BlackHawk 41 MAG. with a 10 inch barrel.
I wrote them a letter on the matter a few years ago but no response.
The 6.5 incher still works well so I will get by.

turfman, I totally agree. My wish is chamberings in the RSI are 260 and 7-08 or 6.5 Swede and 7mm Mauser to compliment the classic European lines of the rifle. If the barrel was increased to 20" the 9.3x64 would be great. Dave

A convertible Bearcat with adjustable sights, preferably in stainless.   A Mini-14 that is ACCURATE out of the box.  Bring back the 32mag Single Six with adjustable sights, again, preferably in stainless.  And as long as I am wishing,  how about a double rifle based on the Gold Label shotgun that no one has seen yet.  Don't know what I would do with it but I can still wish.

DocT,
I saw a few of the Gold Label shotguns at the SCI show in Reno in January.  Ruger claims production has begun and we should be seeing them in orders or on shelves this summer.

I've come across a couple of Butch Searcy double rifles made on the Red Label, of course they are O/U's, but Butch did a nice job.  If I recall correctly, one was a 300 H&H (I can't recall if it was the flanged Super 30 or not) another was a 375 H&H (again can't recall if it was the flanged version).

A bolt action handgun!!!!

A 30/30 chambering in a lever and Bolt Gun.  (I would buy the bolt gun, NOW!!)

A youth model in the 77/22 and 77/17.  My kids need a new gun, too.
