Redman's RSI in 7mm08 or esecially the 260 would be high on my list.

The deerfield in 45acp and 9mm, I just don't like all that plastic "neo-apocaliptic future" look of the current carbines, the closer in apperance to the old M1 carbine the better, but in cheap to shoot 9mm would be great!

Old Griz,

Love the concept, just wish that it had a wood stock! I've almost bought one a couple of times, but just couldn't get past the ugly......

Ol' Griz, I know that if I bought one, I'd really like it. Ruger Reliability,Durablity, the surplus ammo is cheap and plentiful, and I've already got a P89 with clips to go with it, but as long as we're wishing..........

1. A good looking 500 S&W mag in a super sized super redhawk.  With a bull barrel so less compisator is needed maybe a 12" or 15" barrel.
2. 45 Long Colt in a Single Action BUNTLINE!!!!!!!  15" or 18" barrel
3. 44mag hunter Super Black Hawk w/15" barrel
4. Offer the redhawk's again in 357mag and 41mag  5 1/2" & 7 1/2" barrels too!!!!!!! Do a short run because some of us baby boomers missed buying them we were too busy raising a family back then.  I was able to get the 44's but i missed the 41mag and 357mag redhawks.  There's a lot of baby boomers who don't want or ride harleys i'd rather have redhawks!!!  I'm sure i'm not alone plus everyone doesn't just like the auto's too I like both revolvers and auto's.  Get a grip ruger lets go if you make them we will buy them!!!!
5. A mini 14 in 308!!!!  We should have another choice besides the springfield armory M1a.  The market is wide open for another good accurate 308 shooter.   If you manufactured a mini 14 that could be used in competitions it would be a whole new market for you.  You could manufacture a "no frills" mini 14 in 308 just a plain jane shooter and a mini 14 competition model with all the bells and whistles you could call it the Ruger Mini-14 A1M.  You could make with an easy change out barrel too be smart do something different go where no one dares to go today you can do it!!!!!!! :D

An Old Army carbine.  A .36 cal on a Single-Six frame.  And, I really like the idea of a 10/9mm that looks like a M-1 carbine

Wow, I last posted on this thread nearly a year and a half ago!  Unfortunately I've given up on Ruger and the other domestic manufacturers ever making left-handed bolt rifles that aren't the usual 270, 30-06, 7mag (although they're great, I'm just bored with them).  I understand Ruger is in the business of making money but why does Tikka, for example, make 6.5 Swedes, among others, for lefties?  Maybe Tikka doesn't make any $.

I do think Ruger could do at least OK with a 480 in a bisley/SBH.  Judging by this thread and discussions I've had at my gun club I think they might sell a lot of them.  A #3 in 480 would be interesting too.

While Ruger did make a side by side shotgun, I think a double rifle is some seriously wishful thinking.  But that would be awesome, especially in 470 NE.  I don't think even Ruger could sell that for less than $3000.

Ahh, what the heck! I guess I will chime in to!

If ruger came out with Mini-14 that fired the .308 accuratley out of the box I would buy one this very second...

Aaaahhhh----XGI dreams.

I believe Ruger could out-Springfield---Springfield---if they set their minds to it.

Sort of like a giant Mini-14 with 10-round mags and decent accuracy in the $750 to $800 range would sell like hot cakes and basically put Springfield out of business or confine them to a niche National Match market.

How about the classic design of the MKII pistol beefed up and chambered for .45 acp. I wished for a Ruger auto pistol for years (other than .22), and when they came out, I personally hated the look and feel.

Oh well, just a thought.

Dear Ruger, I would like to see.
1. Return of the tang safety on the 77
2. 77/41mag
3. 10.5" barrels on Blackhawks in 32H&R, 357, 41, 45LC
4. 32H&R in something other than a Vaquero and with adjustable sights.
5. 9.3x62 in a model 77
6. For the Warning on the barrels to go away.
7. Start line-boring the cylinders on Blackhawks. I'm sure with your manufacturing expertise you could do it effectively and efficiently and end up with a much more desirable and accurate product.
8. Come out with a "Classic" to take over for Remington's blunder in cancelling the Classic. Perhaps a 77 tang safety, with no warning on the barrel and a safari looking stock? AND may the first year be chambered in 6mm Remington Bench Rest (6BR).

That's my list at the moment.
Thanks for listening.
Joe

One thing I'd like to see is the model 96/ in other Centerfire calibers.
i.e.: 22 hornet, 357 mag...

Also give it the rifle treatment like they have done with the 10/22.  I'm not a huge fan of short barrels.  They are OK for Handgun rounds, but not real rifle cart's in my opinion.

Would like to see some 35 calibers, also.

Why not more shots in the single six's?  single 8 or 9?  It's a great gun, but it could be more useful, and fun to shoot if you didn't have to reload as often...

Don't know if this has been covered yet but I'd love one of those new SRH alaskan's in .44mag.
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on; I don't do these things to other people and I require the same from them.

I would like to see Ruger make a Super Redhawk in 454 or 460 S&W Magnum in a 9.5 barrel that is ported or compensated. Otherwise the choice would be the S&W 460 XVR Compensated Hunter 10.5 inch barrel.

That, and a vertical stack mag for the Deerfield to make it that much more like an M1 Carbine in a better cartridge.
