A friend needs dimensioned drawings for rear sights for Dahlgren boat howitzers. He'd like to get the drawings for any or all models of Dahlgren boat howitzer, including small, light, medium (aka heavy) 12-pounder smoothbores, and the 3.4-inch rifle.
Do you know if they've been published anywere? We've already checked AOP. They are probably in the National Archives but that's an entire day of work even for someone who lives nearby and I don't have the time to do it now.
