New Mossberg Tactical 30-30

  P.S.-  Somebody already makes a tactical .30-30.  It's called the Winchester Trapper and the Marlin Spike Horn, with Ashly type sights and a ghost ring peep.

Yeah, and they can add a bayonet lug and pistol grip too!  Come to think of it, keep it 30-30 and extend the magazine tube to hold more than 10 rounds.  Then they'll ban it!

  Stainless 30-30?  Sure.  That makes sense.  It's the CAR stock that makes me a little ill.

I prefer wood lever guns. But why make it black if its the "anti anti-gun"?
Could of been done way better, like a hog gun out of the box. XS scout rail, some ghost rings, "SMALL" rail up front and a stock system like the on the ruger scout that has the buttstock spacers. And it would still be close to the same MSRP.

This is a picture that I saved to my laptop because I kinda like it. It may even be a GB member's gun, I don't remember. This gun with a light attached to the tube magazine with a clamp, I think is about as high tech as I'm willing to go on a levergun. Stainless would be fine too. Maybe even a laser, red dot or holographic sight on the rail. I never liked the picatinny rails on the forearm of any gun.
 
The owner of the gun calls it his "Appalachian Assault Rifle". A similar rifle in ones favorite revolver caliber and maybe 'trapper' length barrel, and an optional lever might be nice too...................

  Probably not.  For the same money they can buy another Glock or a new upper for their AR. 
 
  Mossberg should stick with the shotguns for their 'tactical' line.  They make a good LE/mill shotgun. 
 
  If they want to sell more lever rifles maybe they should have put their R&D time into adding new calibers.  Put out  357, 44 and 45 cowboy carbines and each caliber would outsell the tacticool lever gun.

Actually I ought to buy a couple three of these babys. Keep them in the box unfired. Someday my bet is that they will be very very rare.

That's what I was thinkin'. It's not too far out to think this will be a 'collector piece' in the not distant future. Buy a couple of 'em and the .22LR version as well.
