Not familiar with that model. 230 maybe? 232? quite similar in looks to a Wather PPK? Drop dead sexy and fairly smooth shooter considering it is a blowback design and very accurate. Many think it is too dang big to be considered a pocket pistol, I tend to agree, but want one anyway.

238? A Colt mustang by any other name is still the same gun. Early models had teething pains, those must be pretty well worked out. Personally, I don't want a cocked and locked mouse gun in my pocket. I'm afraid I would throw my keys in there and get myself ventilated trying top get into the house some night.

P238? I agree, I don't really want a 'cocked & locked' gun in my pocket either. I do like the P238 though.

Love my P238, nice shooting 380. I wouldn't really consider it a pocket gun, I carry mine in a Galco belt holster, cocked and locked.
After dealing with s TCP pocket gun, I finally decided you get what you pay for and sprung for the Sig.

If you mean the P238, they are a great gun. I have one and love it.  I have owned and shot the Kal-tec, LCP and S&W Body Guard 380ACP's, but I sold them all, and got the Sig P238.

I thought I'd get an early start blowing some of my tax refund. I bought a plain-jane P238 today off gunbroker, black model. The price was $495 + shipping. I'm already wondering if I need it, but I'll try it out. My LCP needs company for my good supply of 380 reloads.

No night sights. I see I could of done a little better, looking around more. My local shop was getting crazy on the price.

Does your come with the night sights?  Mine is called the Nitron. $495 is a good price, will you still have to pay a teansfer fee to you FFL as well for the gun?  I got mine for $535 out the door.

How do you carry your P238? I'm just looking at holster options. The LCP does fine in the pocket. At this time I only plan to carry the p238 with the hammer down. It may not even be a real carry gun. I just wanted one for awhile. The Ruger LCP manual shuns away from any +p ammo, hows the Sig in this regard?

I have a Sig P238 and do like it a lot. I ended up with this gun in
a trade because the Kahr P380 I bought didn't work; ok the Kahr
is the worst gun I ever owned. Anyway I didn't want a single action
auto, didn't want a Sig, so for me to keep this gun and it is my carry
gun, it is that good. I carry it in a crossbreed mini-tuk strong side,
hides real well and I do shoot a lot, there has never been any malfunctions.

I carry it in my front pocked in a DeSantis pocket holster. I carry it cocked and locked with one in the pipe. Safety has never come off even while working. It is a safe gun in my opinion. The manual does not warn about using plus P ammo, just says stick to SAAMI ammo.

I was able to test out the p238 a while back, very nice. My Colt & Metal-form 'Mustang' mags from Midway work great, as a lower cost option. I did notice my reloads gained 60 fps over my LCP when fired in the p238. The Speer 90 grn GD loads showed 974 fps with the chrony, they had more bite than my modest reloads, both cycled fine. The factory holster came with it so I'll just use that now.
