You don't need sea legs, TN, you're on a freakin' carrier.
Here's some things the small boy surface types will love ...
I almost fell today, trying to run on one of the treadmills in the aerobics room, kept stalling out with the movement of the ship.
We set up a full size basketball court in the hangar bay. Still have room for plenty of aircraft. I think there's a volleyball tourney tonight.
Shall I keep going?
So I'm eating in Ward Room #3 (someone will get that.) The omelet chef was off duty today, but they had my favorite cereal at the cereal bar. Cloth napkins, gold rimmed china, crystal glasses, ornamental silverware. Last night the CS's wore tuxedo shirts with bow ties. I hear they do that every night in the Admiral's dining room, and the Captain's dining room.
But the Captain put a stop to Salsa dancing. We are a war ship after all.
I poke fun ... this is the hardest working crew I've ever seen, around the clock, and their morale is the highest of any unit I've served outside the Marine Corps. Honored to be here.
