was wondering if anyone could give me an approximate value of this gun, serial # 49xxx built in 1935 which was the first year they came out with the 220 swift caliber, the gun is 100% original finish and blueing and only has minor scratches on stock still has orignial sights with windage and elevation adjustments and has never been fired

Jrttexas the rifle version about $1200 the carbine about $1000 also it could bring a premium if you find the right collector.

If that gun was mine it would not be for sale at any price, there's people that dream of owning a mod. 70 in 220 swift, some people have all the luck, best wishes, keep your powder dry,
