Super Slow Motion Cannon Firing
« on: January 26, 2012, 07:25:01 AM »
Well I shot the footage in slow motion and figured out how to slow it down even more on the computer. I think it is way cooler than just the regular slow motion much more detail. Hope you enjoy

What was that that came out at the end? How did you slow it down on computer?
There are very few probablms that can't be solved with explosives.

Kjosefy,

That was cool! What is the barrel? How much, what kind of powder, projectile? Tell us more, please.

i slowed it down by going to the edit tab in windows live movie maker and selecting .125 for the speed but i had shot the film with a camera that had hi speed movie already so it made it that much better. Here is the same new years video slowed down it was shot in real time speed not slow motion.

it was 1.5oz of homemade BP and it is king howitzer and the thing you see at the end is the powder charge container or whats left of it. Here is a video of the cannon so you can tell what your seeing being fired.
