Ted might rub some of you the wrong way, but he is the loudest voice out there right now for hunters and shooters! Shoot Straight, Kill Clean, Apologize to no one! The new slogan for hunters-APOLOGIZE TO NO ONE!

I'm not a Ted N.  hater, but if I had to listen to what he tries to pass off as music, I would soon be.

He looks and sounds like a full blown nut case with his spirit of the wild this and that crap.
I think his spirits come from a bottle of Jack, or a hit of this and that! Hey! JMO. I don't like his style, but I don't hate him. I prefer a Tom Selleck type spokesman for the Second Amendment.

He is an entertainer , he plays to the audiance . I have seen him look like a wild man when he wanted every one to pay attention . On the TV show Red jacket he was down to earth ( well he did have an evil grin when shooting the machine gun) . He is willing to go toe to toe with the anties. He is not ashamed for his beliefs about guns . Maybe more of us should be wild at times.

I never liked his music.  I do like his books and videos.  He does a good TV show as well.  I've seen him as a guest on several talk shows, he spoke a good message.  He has caused many a young man and woman to give second thoughts about hunting and gun control, which is good.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

This is the thing most don't seem to understand.  If you want the young to learn from you, you have to talk to them in their language.  It's also funny how many don't understand that throughout his career he has spoken out against drug and alcohol use yet he is always accused of being a user by those who would rather make up their own images rather than see the truth because his appearance and music genre choice closely match that of others who are into such things.

I'm no Nugent fan even though I do love rock & roll but that has to do with the man not the message.

I have a hard time separating Ted the product from Ted the man, he does not make it any easier. On balance I like him.

I didn't mean to denigrate enriching ones self. I do as much of it as is possible.

I suppose where I was headed was this. Ted is always selling, guitars, bows, his show on TV, his wife, his pistol brand of this month his new line of ammo, his brand of whatever it is on this green earth he can pimp. There are times I find myself rolling my eyes and wondering how the hunting industry supports him or does he support hunting?

He is an ardent supporter of 2A rights and knows the subject inside and out. After allowing for his blowtorch delivery and odd ways I wonder if he is a zero sum gain spokesman.

Again I like the guy but find myself shaking my head (with a smile on my face).

I am sure Ted is helping to pass the torch of freedom. I would like to see more of this.

Wasn't Ted known as the Motor City Madman back in his early years? He seems to still be with his hunting show. I like Ted but I think he would do the cause more good if he would just chill out a little.

As far a "pimping" products he is no worse than all the other hunting/fishing shows, 10 minutes of show, 20 minutes of commercial. I hardly ever watch any of these shows just because of that. If they would flip that percentage I would be more interested. The only reason any of them exist is to make money selling something but they are overboard on the selling.

I, old fart that I am, have always liked his music and have some of it on my mp3 player.

I don't always agree with Uncle Ted but I love him just the same. His heart is in the right place and it's a plus to have someone so famous as a gun and hunting rights advocate.

As far as I know, his worst vice was an eye for the ladies. but his wife has put a stop to that.
also, he may be hyperactive which would explain some of his antics.

I like Uncle Ted and some of his music!  He gets face time with the media.

I can't remember the last time I saw Tom Selleck on TV or anywhere else touting our rights.  You can't be any kind of spokesman if you never speak!
Which lie got to you so that you refuse Him???
