H&R Turkey gun??? How BEST to do it???

I was hoping to get a receiver and the 24" 3 1/2" chambered choke tube barrel... that is not overly realistic on any reasonable time frame... what about buying the Pardner turkey and having it threaded for tubes... has anyone done this? I imagine starting with the tightest choke will give me more metal to work with when threading... does anyone know which tubes it would be BEST to thread for... Invector, Rem??? Regardless of which way the metal goes, it will be stocked with a Boyd's Sterling camo laminate thumbhole and forend... I am interested in any thoughts, ideas, options... ?

ADD ON NOTE;  I am thinking of threading for choke tubes so that I can use an extended .665" Kicks choke to tighten the pattern... but maybe I should first ask if anyone has patterned their Pardner turkey what kind of patterns does it throw, and what is your effective kill distance???

My Black turkey gun is Extra full extended choke and has only been patterned with Buckshot, so might not help you much.  At 15 yards, all 10 balls were inside 6" at 30 yards they were still all on the 12" target.  This was 000 buck though, so likely different than turkey loads.  I know others have had them shortened and tapped for choke.  I don't mind the ones that H&R uses because you can use any of the Mossberg 500 chokes which are only about 6 bucks.  Also, Tru-Lock has a lot also of various styles including rifled chokes for sabot slugs.  ;)
