Seems to me they all said the same thing when the slaves didn't have to work in the fields anymore...they all said the south would not survive.  Seems to me they survived without the cheap labor just fine and dandy...they figured it out. 
 
We would all be better of with no illegals in our country, and no more coming over, they pretty much suck the life out of America....and I can't help but think the people who think it's OK to use slave labor also had no problem with slaves in the South...same deal...and that is kind of a shame people still think slavery is OK....mostly democrats it seems, they were always OK with slavery and had lots of excuses for it back then, and still do it seems.

What nonsense. I'm old enough to remember California before the Mexican invasion transformed it into a political subdivision of Mexico  and it was a paradise. The schools were good, the streets were clean and you could drive almost anywhere and not worry about being shot by some gangbanger because you got off  on the wrong freeway exit.

I have a lawyer friend who does criminal defense.  One case involved one of three illegal aliens (Mexican)  who ere breaking into cars and ripping off Gringo's stereos, etc.   His Mexican client had six kids with three different women...ALL ON WELFARE.  Boy that was great boost to the economy  wasn't it.   Oh....he also had a wife and he plunked down $8,000 for private defense counsel.  I wonder how many of us on this board have an extra $8 grand laying round in an envelope.

Employers   cut   down   on   administration   cost   when   they   pay   in   cash  .  NO   W2s   to  send   out   ,  No  insurance  forms .  Out   of   sight   out   of   mind.

For you guys information, when Alabama enacted our illegal immigration law, the unemployment rate for Nov '11 dropped to 8.1%, while every state around us was way over 9% with Florida over 10%.  We were about like them before the law was enforced begining the 1st of November.  Since then a Federal Judge struck down part of the law.  So it really did help LEGAL Americans find work.  If it helped us by about 1.5%, what would it do for the entire nation?  Then if they would build the Keystone pipeline and allow drilling, maybe we could knock down another 1% or so, and we could actually start recovery.

Being an employer I can tell you this is not always the case . It might work to laundra money . When you get an audit it would be hard to hide doing such . Keep in mind in most business it is not hard to track creative accounting pratices. Nothing is out of mind with the IRS , they can look at your return and in most cases see if it fits a profile , IE your profit vs expence . What really happens is you run a new hire thru. SS and get a go to hire. about a year or up to three years you get a form requesting imformation as the once new hire has paperwork that does not match SS records. He has two weeks to produce documents proving he is who he says he is. I have seen one produce the correct paperwork the others left. They left all SS contributions also , how many millions do you think this adds up to ? Why would the govt. want to stop the in flow of cash ?  As for SS they are swamped so don't blame them .
