My 35 Whelen pallet wood looks good to me... :D Happy the way it turned out.

I'd bet it looked like this as it came from the factory, just posted in the classifieds by Dusty223, it's typical of Birch wood, I've got a Pardner that looks like it, also have a Whelen stock that looks tiger striped.  ;)

Looked tiger striped when I got it. I took  da finish off , Used Minwax Gunstock231 stain had to stain it three times, Then I used Birchwood-Casey Tru-Oil bout 15 coats all hand rubbed.
