Green Mountain makes drop in barrels for T/C Hawkens and Renegades with slow twist for round balls. Midway carries their barrels.

green mountain has drop-in barrels for t/c rifles. they're available in several calibers. go to the barrel section at track of the wolf and look ibs drop-in barrel system for t/c rifles. they have several calibers listed as in stock. midway is another stocking dealer. for what it's worth and luck to ya neighbor, bubba.

Might check the Muzzle loading classifieds here too.  There's at least 3 barrels I've seen recently that'd work with that lock most likely.  ;)

I have Green Mountain barrels on my T/C .54 Hawken caplock,  and my T/C .50 Hawken Flint. Both 1 in 70" twist, both drop right in, and both very accurate.

You might want to try cleaning and using a wire brush on the barrel, then shoot it.  You never know.  I've seen some pretty ugly barrels that still shot well.
