Not that I know of.
The earliest paintball gun was the single-shot Nelspot, made by Nelson paint co and marketed to forestry folks for marking trees. Nelson also invented the paintball projectile.
My 1st paintball gun was a Sheridan PGP, which was just their pellet pistol frame with a .68 cal barrel and a 10 shot mag tube on top. IIRC, it was the second (after Nel-Spot) gun to be widely available. I got mine in ~1983, before they had a pump handle. You had to load the balls by twisting and pulling back the bolt at the rear. I later had my PGP modified by Tim McMurray; he invented the drop tube magazine & pump handle for it when he was a contract designer for Sheridan.
