Smith & Wesson 629-6 PC Barrel Length?
« on: January 31, 2012, 01:20:26 PM »
Does anyone have one of these?

How much does the muzzlebrake help? Does the 7.5 inch barrel length include the muzzlebreake?

I don't have one of those, but I have one of these......

Scarey accurate and great trigger. Very pleasant to shoot.  One of my favorite range guns. Compared to my 5'' 629, muzzle jump and recoil are less, whether it's the extra weight, more weight forward or the comp, or a combination of all, I dunno. Mine is advertised as a 7.5'' barrel, but measures 8.5 with the comp. I carry it in a  Galco Kodiak shoulder rig when hunting. Took a good size doe this year with it @ 40 yards(passed on the 7 pointer standin' next to her) and had complete pass thru both shoulders using a Nosler JSP and 23.5 gr of H110.
"where'd you get the gun....son?"
