You can remove the vent rib and use some of the existing holes to mount standard sights to it. I was going to attempt this with the one I had at one time, and if I remember correctly, you would either need to drill/tap another hole or two for a perfect mount of the sights, but you can mount them temporarily to see how it shoots.
With mine, the 45LC accuracy was decent enough for close-quarters whitetail hunting, but I wanted a little more accuracy out of mine and did some wheeling and dealing to pick up a 45LC only barrel from the Custom Shop. Went from a 4-5 inch 3-shot grouping at 60 yards to having them all touch (roughly 1.5-2 inch grouping at worst). Wasn't a very technical test as the shots were fired from an unsupported kneeling position, but gives you an idea.
