I don't do very much fast food at all. Could probably count on one hand the number of times I have been to a fast food place in the last year, and McDonalds is on the bottom of that list anyway.

  I agree with spikehorn. McDonalds food tastes like it came out of the dumpster. :(   Have been to Burger King a few times. Always thought there food was a couple steps above McDonalds.

About once every six months the wife and I will be going somewhere and we will stop at McDonalds here in North Pole.  She orders the Chicken Sandwich, I alternate between the Big Mac and the Quarter Pounder.

They do taste good, but I can not stand the colestarol or fat.

Not a big fan of fast food.  I will usually brown bag it or stop at a diner or bar & grill.  Not only is most of it not good for you because of all the fat and salt but it isn't cheap either.   A couple weeks ago I ended up working later than expected and needed to grab a quick bite because I knew I was not going to get home before midnight so I stopped at a Hardees.  A burger, fries and large soda cost $8 and change!  :o   I could have gotten a fresh hand packed burger with fresh, not frozen, french fries and a domestic draft beer for $10 including tip at my favorite pub.
