open sights for a glenfield model 30

I just picked up a glenfield model 30. Need some suggestions for a good iron sight upgrade. It will be used for hunting in the thick stuff and really ejoy iron sights but the factory sights just suck. Any info greatly appreciated.

williams fire sight for the front and their FP or 5D receiver sight

I like the looks and make of the Skinner Sights for the money.  Might drop Andy a line, sure he'll help you figure out what's needed.  ;)  I posted a link to the one I think you'll be needin..  ;)  Lotta sight for just $60 bucks and he's a site sponsor.  ;)

Did you order a new front sight also? Or just the rear peep?

i ordered both and yes i like it. didnt really need the front sight tho so try it before you install.
