Watched the hearings today and 2 sets of 2 words were blatantly obvious....PLAUSABLE DENIAL and double speak.  "Lower level people won't talk to him for fear of being called into Congress to testify".  Time to go, Mr. Holder!

Watch and see how all of the delay tactics Holder will try! I hope Issa does put the hammer down on him! Should have already done it!!
Really amazes me how Holder and the POTUS just thumb their noses at the law and courts!!

After all this time I no longer believe that anyone will be held responsible. This has gone on too long. Holder has been able to ignore congress and get away with it, and I think he will continue to do so.
 
I'm curious, is Issa up for reelection? This may be a deciding factor in whether or not Holder is forced to give factual testimony,

Let me see if I get this right,
If I were to hand out firearms to Known gang members and enforcers for the Mexican Drug cartels and they killed people and police with the guns I handed out, Would I be charged as an accessory before the fact for murder?
Why are we not Charging Holder and everyone that made the desicion to sell guns illegally to these people the same way?

I watched a replay of part of his "testimony" and one of the Congresswomen who was supposed to be asking him questions came to his defense and said what all this really boiled down to was inadequate gun laws. Others suggested it is just a political fishing expedition by the Republicans and that it all started under the Bush Administration. The more I watch, the more I'm convinced he is lying AND incompetent.

The Liberals / Democrats always make it about something else.  And the news media Will jump on board.
The Clinton impeachment was about witness intimadation, suborning purgury,and lying under oath in a sexual harrasment case.
The Media made it about Monica (not to get too graphic).
The Clinton Billing records, the Clinton medical records, the Clinton futures investment,  The accusation of Rape in the white house, all were major scandles that were hushed up.  What ever happened to" the seriousness of the charge"...
Why is it that someone who took steriods in professional sports something that Congress has nothing to do with under the constitution, is facing prison time for lying to congress with semi prooof he lied.  ANd we have Proof of multiple lies from Holder to Congress and he is not only NOT headed ot Jail but is still drawing a government Pay check.

Well it should be no surprise that this is all political since it involves only politicians and political appointees. Issa is up for reelection this year, is loving the spotlight and has no desire to wrap things up too soon. In truth I don't believe anyone in Washington really wants to get to the bottom of this, it would be far too revealing. Who really wants to know that our entire government is so corrupt that the Department of Justice is perfectly willing to turn over weapons to known terrorists just to produce a data base on the flow of illegal weapons, all done with a total disregard for public safety and international treaties.
 I agree that many serious scandals during the Clinton years were papered over and minimalist. But I also believe that George W is a war criminal. It is obvious that Iraq had no WMD's and that absolutely no reliable intelligence ever suggested they did have. Bush wanted to invade Iraq and tasked the intelligence community with the job of coming up with an excuse to do so. And talk about retaliation on whistle blowers, look at what was done to Joe Wilson and his wife Valery Plame for telling the truth.
 The sad truth is that our whole political system is rotten to the core, every government official is owned by someone as is every news media outlet.

every rep is up for reelection.  the sad performance of the republicans that were sent to do a job will probably cost us the house.  with a second term of obama and a democrat congress, freedom will be a thing of the past.
