Liberty model mark 1
« on: January 21, 2004, 07:03:17 AM »
I have a Ruger Mark1 liberty edition bull barrel with copper colored ruger emblems on the grip panels. I was wondering if this gun is somewhat rare or not. Anyone else have one?  Its not in perfect condition as it has some holster wear and some light pitting due to it sitting in a dresser drawer for a few years while I was overseas. If it is a rare item I will have it refinished, if not I will just keep shooting it and not worry about it. Thanks for any replies.......Flinch

Flinch:

I searched around a bit...can't find anything on it right now.  But, someone will be along soon who can help.  Why don't you post this inquiry on the Ruger forum too?

Whatever you do, DON'T mess with the finish on the gun until you find out more about it.  Messing with the finish could ruin the value of the gun...at least to a collector.
