It never ceases to amaze me at the people who openly and strongly support what God condemns. The Bible is very plain on this. Do any of you really believe that God has changed his mind about homosexuality?? Only the libby mind has changed. Man changed, not God. Gods word is as true today as it was thousands of years ago.

I don't support hate. Hate is the one thing that drives folks away. Jesus hung out with harlots and scoundrels. The pious folks didn't need him, and finally killed him or tried to anyway. Just stop being full of hate is all I'm sayin'.

A religious spirit wants to kill anyone that doesn't agree with it. At least a homosexual spirit doesn't want to kill folks.

Nice try at twisting the issue. Using the term Ellen Degenerate is what we are referring to. You can state your case, but name calling is totally not necessary and very juvenile. I think you are assuming hatred..perhaps PM is reacting with pity or with hopes of correction. When somebody, even a friend.. screws up time after time at something he should have corrected long ago, we may say "great play Shakespeare" or "smooth move Ex-Lax"..that is not hate, but a reminder that he didn't HAVE to mess up.
If that friend smokes or drinks heavily, we may chide him..trying to get him to drop destructive practices..that's NOT hate. By chiding the unnatural practice of homosexualism...it could just be an effort to rattle a few cages to a self-destructive practice.
If that person is a celebrity, a play on words might have a much broader effect.
Then there is ith constitutional principle of allowing a person their own thoughts and the right to express them..PM should be allowed that right.
We have 2 sides to an issue here..some approve of homosexuality, some do not ! Only political correctness (liberal censorship) would prevent freedom of speech in such a case..
By what has been said here...we can see anger, hate and name-calling are not confined only to the anti-homosexualism folks.

I believe the Bible. It says that Loving God and your fellow man are the most important commandments and that they out weigh all the others. Hating your brothers and sisters doesn't help you or them. That old religious bitterness will rob you of everything in the end. There is nothing worse or more hateful IMO.

Sinners without Christ are are not led by the same spirit that sinners in Christ are led by. We all are sinners. The Spirit within us leads to sorrow--a sorrow of hate towards MY sin. I have too much on my own plate.
You can witness but you cannot change.
Hateing them is a way of making little to do about your own sin. Sweep your own house and then clean the house of the sinner.
Love them for that is all the love of God that they will have in eternity.
I agree with Swampy and others---there is something else going on behind the scenes here.

It occured to me this morning that King James was a homosexual but God used him in a great way. Who knows the mind of God? I find the lifestyle repugnant but since God gave me a pass, I find that I can't really judge anyone. They don't bother me and I don't hate them.

I don't think gay people choose to be gay. Listen, I know the arguments both ways - I know, I know - but who would want to choose to be something that would get the rejection, ridicule, persecution?

Quick anecdote: I know a guy who is a Doc. One of the smartest and and most capable people I've ever known, we've been friends for over 30 years. He's gay. He always was, but he hid it, was mostly celibate, tried to deny it, but has always thought he was gay. He says he knew when he was at puberty, and didn't want it. He is a Christian. He got married, tried to 'go straight', all that... now twenty years later it comes apart. He's got a wife and three kids, she's leaving, he's unable to fake it anymore. He's still one of the best men I've ever known, and he doesn't deserve anyone's contempt.

Yes that is true ! Swampman has some hate of religous folks for why I don't know . Its a shame to paint all with the same brush. Some are good folks others are not.

Lets talk about hate and gays ( I will use gay as homosexulal is a long word to type one finger) . I had one work with me . Her mother had to decide what sex she would be at birth and chose girl. She tried but never was comfortable with it. She was given hormone shots to help her look the part of a female. I was told this because after working with her for years she said I never once made any statement or jester about her lifestyle and she thanked me for that . A good friend of hers told me the rest of the story for her. It is a very sad thing that she and her mother went thru. It shook my way of thinking about judgement. As born she could have been either , how does one hate someone who has to deal with what happened to her ? So As instructed I leave the judging to God.

Good luck getting an ansewer on that one I ask over a year ago and no one gave an opinion if i remember correctly.
I would offer the no judgement as the way to deal with it.

as for in your face , it hurts their cause .

as for christians , one should look to see what a true christian is before calling all who go to church one. Its the way one lives not what they recite .

J C Penny can choose who they want to represent them; they are evidently looking for a target clientelle. They will "lose some..gain some", and since Penny's has been quite desperate in recent years, it's likely they will try anything for survival.
