t/c pro hunter .44 rem mag or .444 marlin barrels?
« on: February 02, 2012, 04:19:01 PM »
I live in Louisiana.  We are allowed to hunt with single fire pre 1900 patent selected calibers by LWF during our primative season, at least for now.  I received a email from LWF and it looks like the LWF will be dropping the pre 1900 patent part of our primative rules and allowing single shots that have a hammer.  This opens the door for t/c and CVA to be used.   A few problems I am having.  I HATE the .45-70 round, just my choice.  So, that caliber is out of the question.  The state sets the caliber larger than .38.  My problem, I have a new t/c prohunter.  I would like to know if and where I could order a .44 rem mag barrel or second choice of .444 marlin barrel for the t/c?
I shot t/c an email to see what their optins are.

I would give Eds T/Cs, a GBO sponsor a look. He has alot of choices, reasonable prices and a good reputation. If you see something you are interested in, call him, works better than email.

I'm sure Match Grade Machine or SSK Industries could make a barrel for you.
