In Hospital
« on: February 04, 2012, 01:54:12 AM »
The neighbor's two dogs a Rott and a Pit Bull got in my yard yesterday. My Boxer chased them home and got in a fight with them. The teen owner was juststanding there watching. I broke up the fight and the teen had run in, got a rifle and was going to shoot my dog. I told him no he wasn't it was his dogs fault. Any way I got my dog home but started suffering bad chest pains. I have severe heart trouble. The Er said I had an eratic heart beat big time and they kept me. Running all kinds of tests and a stress test in a few minutes.Wish me luck guys, I just may need it. Oh, and if you ever buy from Topash, the guy is straight up Aces. You'll not find anyone that will treat you better. Bought a barrel from him for my Encore and he went beyond the norm to do me right. Will see you all when I get home.

SH - You should have shot their dogs.  Get well quick!

One heart patient to another, sit back, take it easy.  Don't get excited or stressed, your life is too important.  Keep things simple, quite, and slow.  Take care.   Rog

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the kind words. I'm doing much better. They said all the excitement just had my heart beating squirrely. Took quite a while to get it settled down. Probably because I was still pissed! The tests came out better than expected. ( All the good Kharma you guys sent. ) I still have to see a heart surgeon about the valve but will cross that bridge when I come to it. They're suppose to call me to let me know when. Some time in the next week or so. Good news is, he's suppose to be top gun at it and none better. I'm suppose to take things easy and no more getting between fighting dogs.

As to my Boxer, he's doing fine. Came out with a few war wounds but nothing that needed stitches, four scars on his face he wears proudly. Just so you know, and this for the anti gun folks too, I have a CCW Permit and had two handguns on me. A Kel Tec PF-9 and a Kel Tec P-32. Only once did I even let it be known I was carying. After I got control of my Boxer the kid kept saying how lucky I was he didn't shoot him. I had enough and told him, " No, it is you who are lucky! Had you shot my dog I'd have shot your's. Pointed it at me and you'd have been next! " Then I pulled up my shirt so he could see my 9mm. His eyes got big and he turned such a pretty shade of green. So see? Just because I carry I'm not a Cowboy......just a pissed off Indian!

PS, While I was in the hospital my wife let the neighbors know, any time outside my Boxer will be on a leesh. For his sake not their dogs sake. Every time we take him out the first thing he does is hit a stance and scan the yard. He's still pissed too. My wife told them if I see their dogs on my property again I'm shooting on sight!

My Bud...Max when he was about 7 months. He's 1 1/2 now. :)

Hang in there Spirit Hawk.  Glad you and your pup are doing well.  Likely a good lesson you taught that young lad.  He will think twice about how he handles situations with others andewhat he lets slip from his mouth.

Its sad the lack of respect the younger generations have for anyone and everyone.  It seems that they throw out empty threats constantly to look big and bad.

Thats what I was thinking too! Spirithawk probably did that kid a favor by teaching him that lesson! Now that kid knows that not everyone is going to roll over and take his B.S.

I wish you a speedy recovery.
