I just ran across this little tidbit...maybe you've already seen it.  http://nationalgunrights.org/images/Romney-AWban-pr.pdf

One thing that makes Romney better is that this would be his first term instead of a nothing to lose second term.

I think Romney is a low life and as is the case with about any Northeastern Polititian, he can not be trusted with the 2nd Amendment.

In other words, if he becomes POTUS and IF we get a Dem. Congress that passes a gun bill, he WOULD sign it. However, I think the odds are not that good that we would both get him & a Dem. Lib Congress. I don't see him
trying anything on his own in this regard since he knows the Country is not like his LOUSY State.

On the flip side with BHO, he will pass any bill before him of this nature & if we have a Rep. Congress, get ready for Executive Orders like we have never seen as this would be his last term. Not only that, but look for the shutdown of hunting on Fed Lands, banning ammo, the skies the limit. That's a given gentlemen.

Both are POTENTIALLY bad when it comes to guns, one is BAD FOR SURE !!

Despite expectations that he'd be an enthusiastic gun-grabber, President Obama has been fine on guns... mostly, don't bother. I think this is because - and I predicted this - he has much bigger fish fry/bigger issues to worry about... engaging in that bit of culture was would be a loser, and he knows it.

Here you go - I think Obama has, for the  most part, conducted a competent & prudent foreign policy, pretty much as he said he would. Not perfect, but none ever are. Better than average, I'd say.
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Interesting.
Obama wages war on his own say so, unconstitutionally that is. And that's OK?
So I guess whoever is king - I mean President - is OK with you as long as he murders people overseas you don't like?

Yep and from day one that bigger fish he was trying to fry was winning a second term so he could act via executive order with impunity.

...but again, I think he's done alright in a couple areas. Maybe I'll start a thread on that.

It's pretty much a tie between Bush and Obama for worst president in history, except in one category Judges. Bush appointed constitution friendly judges. Obama appointed enemies of the constitution. Without the second amendment the constitution is dead. If Romney will follow Bush he is the lessor of. If not he is equal to Obama and the constitution and the America we all know will die, unless constitution friendly judges can hang on until his term is over.

As a former Mass resident I've been trying to warn people about how scary this guy is. All people are focused on is getting rid of Obama when in reality Romney is just as bad if not worse when it comes to the 2nd Amendment never mind the fact that he set the template for Obamacare.

That's what I was referring to, only an idiot would think he would try gun control in his first term, that should have been a given. But with Congress or without, he would make it happen on the 2nd term, no doubt about it.

Not sure thaty's a good argument. As an American, Romney should know better....but he obviously doesn't. Bottom line, he has displayed socialistic beliefs and he's a gun grabber. That's enuff to make him as bad as the current occupant of the whitehouse.

Never said Obama was they only one to do that. In fact I would say every presidential administration going back to Clinton was just one big campaign to win a second term. I am sure it went on before Slick Willie but I wasnt paying attention.

After three years of Obama, I'm willing to give Romney a try.  Give him a chance and I'll likely wish for the day his term ends, but for now I'll be happy for the day when we can say "former President Obama".

It would be interesting to see the American people to overwhelmingly vote for democrats in 2014 to counter Romney's radical right wing agenda.

I'm wondering... if we start calling you PowderPuff or PowderPuss, or some other cleverness... will you be impressed? Will arguments carry more weight? Will you be suddenly pursuaded? If not... take a clue.

Juvenile clevehness aside... of course President Obama is an American. Don't believe it? Check out his citizenship, his passport... his JOB. What kind of malarky you been readin' last few years? Do you believe the stuff you post? Or is it just declaration of contempt & a litte funnin'?

Pro-death? Yikes. I must have missed the President declaration that he was pro-death.
I wonder... are you pro-death for anyone?
he is pro-death for babies who are born alive after a botched abortion.  many viable babies are born this way.  as an Illinois senator, he voted to withhold medical attention from them.
most of the Illinois babies are wrapped in a towel or placed in a plastic bag and laid aside until they stop crying and moving, then disposed of.

Both are POTENTIALLY bad when it comes to guns, one is BAD FOR SURE !!

Just to continue from my first post: For those Libs who think Obummer hasn't been setting things in motion for gun control, why do folks forget so easily how POTUS was laying the groundwork to build an utimate case (would have been if not caught), namely Fast & Furious. The evil purposes of this were many, but one of the main ones was to establish "falsely" a mindset that we must stop the selling of American weapons because they endanger us all. This was all too obvious that there was a long term plan. Hillary started her little speaches that the border was dangerous because of American guns. Fortunately for gun owners, the plan failed, just a short term setback for Obummer if re-elected.
I guess we are supposed to forget that happened at all.

Yes, Romney is trash, but with a Rep. Congress I don't see him taking the issue on his own, but Obama will in his 2nd term, no election to worry about then.

YOUR RIGHT.
I think the appointment of Supreme Court judges trumps just about everything else presidents do. Look at the court today and the age of these justices. The next president could appoint 3 judges easily.
AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT. Not even the GOP candidates
We could get 3 more lifetime liberal judges who think they should legislate from the bench.
