N.Y. Giants Super Bowl champs?

How many regular season games did they win, seven? What do you think the Greenbay Packer fans feel now? Owers making too many changes to suit me.

Have they played the Super Bowl already?
 
I watched, didn't care who won but must say it was a good tight game.  As for records, "on any given Sunday................." There have been a lot of tems that wiggled their way into the big one, that said, What was Arron and the rest of the Packers doing yesterday? ::)

Im a Packer fan. Born and raised in WI.

The Giants this year are what the Packers were last year. We had a bad record, then an amazing playoff run.

So, next year we can look forward to a favorite team losing evevy game during regular season then winning wild card and the Super Bowl?

Thats the beauty of the playoffs. Once you are in, your seasonal statistics mean nothing... though Im not sure losing every game will land one in the playoffs

So the game comes down to sudden death and the first score is the winner. Might as well flipped a coin at the begining of the season.
 
Only watched one game all season.

I do wish it were more of a "series" like in baseball but with the game being so physical I dont think that system would work.

Why not? This year I saw more calls for physical stuff because owners were concerned about injuries then they extend the season for more money?

I like the one game format. You bring your best game for one shot at it, no do-overs, you either win or you go home. They were 9-7 in the regular season, last years Packers were 10-6 in the regular season. So were the Packers really the champs because they had one more win? Just because you don't like the team that won doesn't change the fact that they won the Super Bowl. Better luck to you team next year.

LabRat2k3 , It's all about the MONEY for the owners and their greed. The players or fans play absolutely no part in this. Neither are injuries a part of this. Personally, I don't see it as a sport, anymore.

I think that money has ruined all pro sports that's why I don't watch many. I do watch the Super Bowl though if for no other reason than to have a few friends over and eat too much food that is bad for me. I don't believe that the owners are the only greedy ones though, they are business men and expect to get a big return on the big money they have invested. I see the players as just as greedy. They will sign a contract then decide they are going to sit out of training camp until they get more money. If a team has a good year instead of everyone sticking with that team to try to win more next year they demand a trade so they can make a couple million more somewhere else. It's not about winning any more its about getting paid. Honestly it don't matter if they make $2mill or $5mill more a year it seems most of them end up flat broke 5 years after they retire if it even takes that long. Sadly it seems like college sports is getting just as bad. Guess I'll have to go watch pop warner games to see some one play for the love of the game.
