Trigger Trouble
« on: February 07, 2012, 08:39:49 AM »
I am having a problem with my Handi trigger getting heavier the more I pull the trigger.  It started with a pull of 4.75 pounds and got worse to 7 pounds.  I sent it back to Remington and just got it back.  My first 3 pulls were 4.75 pounds and now it is getting heavier and heavier each time I pull the trigger.  The trigger pull weight is over 8 pounds now.  I don't understand what is going on with this rifle.  Has anyone been through this before?  I am using a Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge.

Sounds like there are some defective parts, I'd PM Brian56 for advice, prolly gonna have to send it in for repair if you don't want to do it yourself which is covered in the FAQs. I've never had one get heavier, just lighter with use, eventually too light.

Wonder if whatever 'wonderlube' they put on it during assembly is wearing off as you go (or have you sprayed it down inside with something and washed it off?).
