I am imagining how you might feel or respond were you to read something someone wrote about Christianity using those terms. Are you familiar with The Golden Rule, as enunciated by Jesus Christ?

I know of a FORMER Palistinian Muslim who once lived here locally.  He was taught to HATE Jews and Christians.  He was caught in a battle back in the '73 war.  He was sent to an Israeli hospital.  He was treated kindly and well taken care of.  He later met some Christians who also showed love and kindness.  He came to America and converted to Christianity.  He is now going around teaching other Christians in various churches about his experience.  He said his family disowned him and if he returned there, they would kill him.  So much for the love and peace.  He said only Jews and Christians showed mercy, love and peace to him.

There are "radicals" in every major religion in the world.  They are the crazy a-holes that give everyone else a bad name.  The majority of Muslims don't want to kill you.   They want to be left alone.  The majority of Christians don't want to kill you.  They want to be left alone.  Were not at war with anybody technically because congress never officially declared war.  Were in a constant state of useless police action.

Problem with Islam is the ones who just want peace and to be left alone are afraid of their own radical elements.  They will not speak out against them for fear of reprisals.  Just like the guy I know of, he can't go back because his family will either kill him or won't speak or have anything to do with him.  Also, his families neighbors might take reprisals if his family doesn't.  Remember most middle eastern people only recently came out of the middle ages.  Chrisitanity has had a much longer time to get educated and get their act together.  Lots of uneducated people will believe anything that an educated person will teach them, it leads the educated to become powerhungry because they are looked up to.  This is what happened to Christianity in the middle ages.  Only the priests, monks, friars, etc, could read and write, and could lead the uneducated masses to believe whatever they were told by them.  Once the printing press was invented, and the reformation and renasaince began, people became more educated and could know things on their own.  At the time of America's revolution, Americans were the most educated people in the world, even moreso than the average Britton.  Same with middle easterners.  They only recently stopped hearding sheep, goats, and camels after they discovered just before WWII.

Funny,,,I've met many moslems and they seem OK,,,when it comes to Palestine theft they get radicalized. I've met Christians and most are OK, than when it come to millenialism and isreal idolatry they get radical. I've met plenty of jews and most are Ok, but when it comes to criticism of our foreign policy or commentary on the colonial zionist movemnet they get like Nuke>radicalized.

The Arabic language has two words for Peace.  One is for fellow Muslims, and one is for non-Muslims, which bascially means ceasefire or temporary tolerance.  So, the non-Muslim peace is only so they can grow stronger to attack you later.  I've read there are 22 conflicts going on in the world.  All of them involve Muslims and someone else except two.  Face the facts.
 
The Taliban blew up 2,000 year old Buddist statues in Afganistan.
There is constant conflict with India and Pakistan and they are of the same original nationality.
There is/was conflict in Bosnia and Kosovo, and both with other Christian groups. 
There was/is conflict with Greece and Turkey, mostly because Turkeys rule over Greece and the other Balkin countries for about 400 years.  Muslims were not taxed like non-Muslims and non-Muslims were treated as a lower class.
They had to be driven out of France and Spain.
Russia had conflict with the Turks.
The Armenians were made to move and/or left to die by the Turks.
The records of the Indian civilization said when the Muslims came in they destroyed their temples and tried to destroy their culture.  Indians considered them barbarians.
There is conflict between Christians and Muslims in Ethopia, Southern Sudan, in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, the Phillipines. 
They can't get along with anyone unless they convert to Islam.
 
No only that, they can't even get along with themselves. 
 
So if you take Israel out of the equation, you still have them having conflict with other peoples. 
 
Christianity, Buddism, and other religions learned to tolerate each other, Muslims haven't learned that yet.  Christianity converts by telling others the Gospel, if they don't believe, Christians let them go.  Muslims try to convert this way in the west, but their treatment of non-Muslims in their countries is horrible.  In Pakistan Christian girls can be raped by a bunch of Muslim boys and they get off scott free.  Raped girls in their own religion are considered whores for allowing it.  This is backwards.  Honor killings, etc.  Their religion is just too mean spirited and intolerant, and yes, when their leaders call for our destruction, and none of their people come out against it, then they are at war with us.  If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.

Doesn't matter if we offended them, the Jews offended them, or Israel.  They have been offended and blame us, and attacked us on 9-11.  They want to destroy us.  They celebrated when the towers came down.  They are constantly saying things about us and rattling their swords.  Iran is trying to get nuclear weapons and have no real enemies nearby or that even threatens them.  So, it doesn't matter the circumstance that started this, whether 1300 years ago, or 60 years ago, they are MAD AT US AND WANT TO DESTROY US.  The either want to take us by overrunning us or destroy us.  Either way, we are at war with them and have to be on our guard.  Now, that being said, the airport screening is plain stupid.  With Air Marshals on every plane, and if you allow pilots to arm themselves, train the attendants in self defence and give them a gun, we could get rid of screening.

Islam has been preaching jihad and holy war against the west and its infidels for decades. I will not make the mistake to think that they have a long lasting, tolerant, caring, friendship in mind.  Holy War is just that, Islam vs. Christianity. The Quran teaches that infidels (thats everyone that isn't a Muslim) either convert or die. Then we hear that not all Muslims feel that way. The thing is that Muslims must believe in the Quran, and everything in it, in order to be Muslims, or else they are infidels and not Muslims. Don't be deceived by peaceful appearing Muslims in America. Their book is not peaceful, and they cannot disagree with it or they are not Muslims, period! I really can't understand how these people can be mistaken for anything that resembles peaceful, when their guiding holy book is filled with hate.
