Fox Kills Freedom Watch
« on: February 10, 2012, 10:40:51 AM »
The Fox Business Channel has cancelled one of the only shows on the entire Fox News network that was in any way informative or watchable - Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano.

Must be this reporte on NDAA

I really like the judge, but could it have been that folks just don't watch the business channel during prime time?  probably just economics.

Looks like they completely redid the lineup starting Feb 20. The judges show and 2 others got whacked, the judge will be scheduled into shows on both the business and the news channel. Looks like a ratings thing.
In the 1920's "sheeple" was a term coined by the National Socialist Party in Germany to describe people that would not vote for Hitler. In the 1930's they held Hitler as the only one that would bring pride back to Germany and bring the budget and economy back.....

Whenever I wonder about anything political or legal I listen to Judge Napolitano. Freedom Watch is an important voice and losing it means another light is going dim. Lights are going out all over these United States.

Fox has damaged their credibility, they just can't take the heat.

Who says the judge has left Fox ?  Don't order a shroud yet, I saw him on Fox just yesterday and am looking forward to seeing him again today.
Sure, sometimes people move on with their own careers..Glen Beck, Alan Combes, Andrea Mitchell,ED Hill and others have moved on That doesn't mean Fox fired them...usually they figured they were making a career enhancing move.  I would think that if the judge were to leave Fox, it would be his choice, since he is immensely popular. Just use the 'gray-matter; obviously, Fox would not fire this immensely popular figure...Fox didn't climb to the top of the heap by doing stupid things..
As far as the crap about " deviating from the party line" goes..what is the party line ?  What is the party line of Bob Beckel..a member of "the Five"..popular discussion group ?  Surely, O'Reilly doesn't toe any "party line"..and he is the most popular of his type in all of TV land.
Admittedly, Fox tends to present the conservative side of things more often than the "alphabet networks" do, but we should remember as many say , "the US is a center-right electorate".  If you want to see an example of 'party line'..just try PMSNBC, CNN or CBS...

they have not slighted him in the least.  megan kelly has had him on many times and asked good questions and got good answers.  it's a puzzle......

It is kind of like Newt said in a moment of unguarded clarity, "right wing social engineering is not any more desirable than left wing social engineering". The R's and D's are concerned with winning, not with being told that they need to stop playing the game.

ron paul gives his mortimer snerd yuk,yuk and tries to let on that he and only he has the answers.
one time he wanted to return to the gold standard, which I am all for.
then he says that he doesn't believe there's any gold left at fort knox or at the fed.
he's just a crazy old man that mumbles "constitution" when not really knowing what he's saying
the poor old fellow is not the only candidate who gets tough questions from the media.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
That is an interesting speech by the Judge and he posited some very interesting  conjectures..
Possibly true ?..yep...probably true?..remotely....   Of course he only offered "what ifs ?", but enough to provoke some thought.  The only thing we must decide is,,which "what if" is more likely ?  By his discussion, either any of the four Republican candidates are good to go..or perhaps none of them are..after all, we have just a few "what ifs ?" to consider.  Any of them could be telling the truth ...or lying through their teeth !
Whoever took the liberty of titling the video..referred to it as"how to get fired...".   I see no connection with his change in status...I happen to be spending the night in Missouri tonight, and if you want me to believe that speech had anything to do with his job change...you'll just have to "show me" !
At varying times the judge has had positive words for Bachman, Gingrich, Perry, Santorum and possibly Romney also...I guess taking the side of any of them could have just as well caused it; but I still doubt any of his commentaries had ANYTHING to do with it !  Remember, if you want me to swallow that accusation...you must "SHOW ME"... ;)   ;D

BTW;  It is no surprise that somr of the FOX crew periodically move on.  Fox has the uncanny ability to find the virtually unknown personnel who have a huge reserve of talent and they go on to prove it day by day.  There is only so much "room at the top" with Fox..so they move on, often to greater opportunity.
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

I really like the judge, but could it have been that folks just don't watch the business channel during prime time?  probably just economics.

If it was economics they would not kill the show with the highest ratings. The judge's youtube clips get more views than Fox News.

I don't think it was the judge.  I think it was where the show was at. the business channel during primetime.........  they couldn't very well kick off somebody to put the judge on regular programming.
if somebody leaves, they'll probably put the judge in the empty spot.
if there is some kind of conspiracy, I'd say sponsers may be at the bottom of it.

Lou Dobbs had a contract the said he could report anything he wanted. He started reporting on the North American Union. He reported that Bush had separately signed away our counties sovereignty when he signed the NU Treaty with Canada and Mexico. He was asked to stop, but refused. After a drive by shooting of his house CNN paid him to go away.

Glen Beck started to report on the NWO. Fox fired him.

Now the judge tells the truth about our government's assault on freedom and he gets fired.

I have tried to listen to Alex Jones, but I have trouble taking him serious.  Sometimes he makes good sense but then he may launch off into conspiracy theories....
Here he joins the old nutcracker, Ed Asner in a "9/11 truther" spiel..
         http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNDTIffgAMg&feature=related

  Of course, he's a "Paulista"..  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_ij6QwrA_8
..and here he launches into a diatribe about how military officers told troops to not be marching in Ron Paul parades.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQlzi9cM05c
Surprise Alex..troops are not supposed to be participating in partisan political parades/demonstrations in union. That's why they were cautioned the same way to not participate in the OWS demonstrations.

Can someone explain the conspiracy btheory he's actually crying about here ?

Napalitano his self had to put a big thing on his Facebook page asking the consipiracy theory idiots to quit sending threatening emails to other people at Fox. Told them he was fine with what happened and as a matter of fact it may have been better for him..... But for gosh sake don't let the man's own words get in the way of a good ol conspiracy. ::)
