Who makes encore muzzle loader barrels

I would like to make a Encore 58 call roundball 1-66 barrel.  Who could make this?

I know that Green Mountain makes some very good blackpowder rifle blanks, but who makes those blanks into Encore barrels I have no idea.  You might contact Green Mountain to see if any of their clients do.

Could you get a 50 caliber barrel and have it bored out and rerifled?  58 may be too big of a hole for that, but 54 might work.

I sold a 15" 209 x 58 Encore barrel a while ago ,it was made by TC and was one of three that I know of .

I have also seen the only TC barrel know made in .72 cal. , they shot it at the TCA 25TH get together last August .What a hand full!

I would talk to Bullberry or MGM ,I highly doubt that Green MT. would make it .You could also try OTT .

Interesting.  A 58 was made!...
Do you know if the 58 was a round ball only inline? Or conicals?
I'm not sure if they make 58cal sabots!......

I just talked to the very nice lady at MGM. They ARE NOT making ML barrels for over a year because they can't get blanks. They won't make anything over 50. :-[

Curious to know why you would want a more traditional type bullet and caliber in an inline like the Encore?  Wouldn't a Zouave or T/C Big Boar be better for PRB .58 cal. ???


I have the Big Boar and love it.  Not sure if T/C makes them any more, but I am sure you can find one out there somewhere.  My Big Boar is a wonderful PRB shooter.  Here is mine:

But I see nothing wrong with a monster .58 barrel on an Encore!!!   Good luck my friend.

Like I said this is for fun. I just want to see if a RB only encore barrel with a 209 primer or better would work. For fun.

Calm down friend you never said anything about FUN!!!  Next time be more specific about what you are doing or trying to accomplish.
