Bug done bit me again!

Dang bug done bit me again!  Just bought another Handi, 308 Ultra w/cin lam stocks.  This gun is old enough to have the now discontinued ultra scope rail.  I now have five (5) 30 cal rifles and only hunt deer in a shotgun/muzzleloader state. ???   I don't quite understand this.   Now that I think about it I guess I ready did need a 308 as I already have a set of the 308 win dies on hand. ;D

You sound like me. I can't hunt deer hunt with any of these standard Centerfire cartridges available (excect for PCR's), but I have a bunch of them.  :o ;)

Well, at least you did it in the proper sensible way. I bought a 308 I have no use for, then bought dies, powder, brass and bullets ::) 
And it's all still sitting attracting dust :'(  Have fun with yours ;)


Now I need to buy a better scope for it to sit with ;D

You are like me in that my first thought is 'do I need this to hunt with', and I justify buying it from there.  But we really don't need that excuse (but I love the one you have!) because we never know where we might end up.  So you might 'need' that rifle but you just don't know it yet.  See how that works.  I'm a little confused myself!  Enjoy!  44 Man

I have a bunch of calibers really able to pretty much do the same jobs. I mostly archery hunt and have to travel 1 1/2 to even use a center fire rifle. I do have a USG 20 for where I live as that is legal. I to continue to buy center fires includeing a .308 as you. But man it could be worse I could look in the safe and only have one or two choices but what fun would that be. Enjoy.

Almost bid on that one myself, but didn't want to drive up the price for you.and I really couldn't afford it either(LOL)..there is a similar one on there now in 223 Ultra w/Simmons scope going for $171 that ends this afternoon, stuff getting cheaper seems like since the "buyer pool" is drying up...

I think CW has a 307.  I already have a rimmed 30 cal, 308x444 so I will probably leave it alone for now.

you know BB that my wife doesn't mind how many I get as long as I keep her fur coat brushed out and have plenty of chow and litter for her :P :o ;D God Bless to all and yours.
