Cougar sightings down low...

Keep hearing about sightings down in the central region at least and finally had a good friend who I trust saw one 50 foot away from their car by Clare.  Between these and wolves, might get more interesting down here.  Lots of feral cats for em to eat.  hehe

I'll always believe there was one in Illinois about 66 or 67.  something terrified two big tough coon hounds.

They DNA trailed the one that came out of the Dakotas, across the U.P. where he was caught on trail cameras and finally was killed by a car in Connecticut.  I think he was about a year and a half old if I recall.  Since then, I haven't heard of any new sightings up here.  Patty had one cross fifty yards in front of her car a 9 am one morning about ten years ago a few yards south of M-28 on M-117 at Kaks Lake.
