Regardless of whether the girl's lunch was taken or not it's still another case of the powers that be thinking they know what's better for us than we do ourselve's. Another instance of you'll do things our way whether you like it or not. That in itself is what bothers me. The mother gave her kid a perfectly acceptable lunch, much more so than many kids get. Then to be told it wasn't adequit, and to have her nose rubbed in it by having to pay for the aditional school lunch, is just plain wrong no matter how you look at it! I can understand the premiss of what they are doing but in this case it was an abuse of their power and hurt their cause more than helped it.
