Please don't point out to this administration that land wars in Asia make the unemployment numbers go down!

Well it did in Vietnam, since the generals were old school out of WWII.  Needed lots of troops.  Today with the cruise missles, and smart bombs, the army can be a lot smaller.  Even Navy ships today use less than half the crew a same size WWII ship would use.  They were developing tanks that were unmanned like the drones and/or with only a crew of two.  WWII tanks had a crew of 5.
